About the course

This programme has been designed for those who aspire to a career or advanced study in marketing. It will prepare you to respond to the marketing challenges posed by today's global business environment. Our pathways allow you to specialise in marketing strategy or digital marketing, or to pursue a broader marketing degree programme.

It provides analytical and business-focused curriculum to develop your skills as an innovative and strategic manager. A core course in the foundations of business management will also develop your knowledge of the contexts in which marketing managers can drive forward organizational goals

Who is this programme for?

This programme is for you if:

You have some academic experience in marketing through a prior degree that contains some exposure to business marketing or management
You want to learn how to formulate an appropriate and innovative strategic response considering the latest digital developments in the field.
You want to develop skills in analysing and making sense of complex real-world business situations.
You want to understand the fundamentals of marketing analytics and research methods, and the interpretation and use of data insights.
You want to develop and understanding of human psychology and consumer behaviour to bring insights to fundamental questions, including why consumers want what they want, what information they will respond to and what they will ignore and how and why they make decisions.

Assessment and feedback

Individual written assignments. Students are given formal written feedback on most coursework assignments submitted during the programme. The style and content of this feedback is dependent on the style of assessment.

Entry requirements

 

We want you to apply if you have an upper second-class honours degree in a business, management or marketing-related discipline, or an equivalent international qualification.

Supervision

Your dissertation is a self-directed, core module of independent research and is undertaken with the guidance of a supervisor.
